The ASP 50cm Talon Infinity DiscLoc Baton represents a new generation of expandable baton technology from Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP). Designed to be elegantly simple, exceptionally strong, and rapidly deployable, the Talon sets a modern benchmark for professional intermediate force equipment.

Built for duty use, the Talon Infinity combines extended tip expansion, one-handed push-button retraction, and a highly secure internal locking system—delivering reliability in the most demanding operational environments.

DiscLoc Locking System – Secure & Intuitive

At the core of the Talon Infinity is ASP’s DiscLoc retention system, a revolutionary locking design that uses two opposing steel discs which cam into a precision-machined internal groove within each baton tube. This system provides simple, stable, and highly secure lockout, eliminating accidental collapse while maintaining smooth deployment.

Retraction is achieved via a precision-ground push-button release rod, which disengages the locking discs instantly, allowing controlled, immediate retraction without striking the baton on the ground. This improves safety, reduces wear, and enables reliable operation in confined environments.

Operational Advantages

The 50cm Talon can be deployed using traditional ASP techniques—by sharply extending the baton toward the ground or sky—but also offers the ability to manually extend the baton by pulling the tip of the shaft. This allows effective deployment in tight spaces, such as inside vehicles or during close-protection duties.

Manufactured from 4130 seamless alloy steel tubing, the Talon Infinity is engineered for extreme durability and strength, providing a high level of striking capability while remaining balanced and controllable.

With fewer than 20 internal moving parts, the Talon is fully serviceable in the field, simplifying maintenance and long-term support for agencies.
