The Krieger Industries BNVD Battery Mohawk is a purpose-built helmet accessory designed specifically to support binocular night vision device (BNVD) configurations. By relocating external battery packs to the rear of the helmet, the mohawk helps counterbalance front-mounted BNVDs, reducing neck strain and improving overall helmet stability during extended use.

The spine-mounted design provides a secure, low-profile housing for battery packs while allowing controlled routing of power cables forward to the device. Internal retention features help keep batteries stable during movement, while the streamlined external profile reduces snag risk in confined spaces, vegetation, or urban environments.

Designed for compatibility with the in service modern helmet systems, the BNVD Battery Mohawk enhances power management, balance, and organisation for training and operational night activities.
