A bottom access opening allows for rapid battery changes without removing the radio, reducing downtime during operations. Upper side access points on both sides provide reach to radio controls and crypto functions while the radio remains seated.

An internal viewing window enables the operator to check the radio screen quickly, supporting confirmation of settings, status, or channel information at a glance.
